The Ordering Process

We recommend that you download and evaluate the program prior to purchase.  This will ensure that the program meets your requirements and runs on your system.

Each program downloaded will run for 3 days before being locked.  This period starts the first time you open each version. So you can actually have up to 6 days if you open one version first and then the other then the evaluation period ends.

The Registration Process

Each program downloaded will run for 3 days to allow you to decide whether you want to purchase the game. If you do, then you will need to e-mail your unique Evaluation and Machine IDs to Roogames, who will then issue you with the registration ID which allows you to unlock the program.  Follow the instructions on the Second and Ten registration screen. You do not need to re-download, and any ongoing replays can be continued. Registration IDs will normally be issued within 1 working day. Each registration ID is specific to a single machine. You may need to request a new code if you make major changes to your machine, including a reinstall of Windows. This request will normally be dealt with within one working day.

Refunds

Since we provide you with 3 days to evaluate each product and to ensure that the program successfully runs on your system, once a Registration ID has been issued for a product we are unable to issue any refund for the product.

Evaluation Period

When downloading the program for the first time you will be given a three day evaluation period.  If you have used this period on a previous version, you can still evaluate the new features of V8 by downloading the specific demo version.  However, this version cannot be directly registered, and will expire after three days.

The Demo Version

We provide a separate demo version which allows users who have already evaluated a previous version to have three additional days to evaluate V7.  This should only be used by these people.  The main installation automatically gives new users 3 days to evaluate the game.

What is a Master Season?

A master season is the latest version of that season available.  It is installed to the \Master (or \MasterC) directory, which is completely separate from a) your in-progress seasons and b) your own season backups.  This ensures you never mistakenly over-write a season.  Master seasons are loaded into SAT through the main screen's Backup->Update With Master Seasons menu option.

What is a College Team File?

We provide thousands of college team files for use in user-created seasons.  These team files are not part of a season.  To be used you either need to create a season or play an exhibition game.  We do also provide full college seasons which are ready-to-run.

Installing onto Vista/Windows 7

If you are installing onto a machine with Vista/Win 7, then you must ensure that you install all files 'as administrator' - Right-click the exe file and select 'Run as Administrator'.  This includes all user-created mods and season files.

You then need to ensure you run the main SecondandtenV8.exe file as administrator.  Right-click the exe file, go to Properties->Compatibility->Run this program as administrator.
